Knapsack
An innovative system for the collection of EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) Films & Packaging Materials, KNAPSACK is an at-source, clean collection system that provides highly effective waste recycling and separation.
Ideal for a wide range of environments, including Supermarkets, Distribution, Garden & DIY Stores, plus Warehousing & Wholesale, KNAPSACK offers considerable recycling benefits, including that of plastic with labels, and also has a higher value than cardboard.
With practically all film (LDPE shrink hoods or bags and LLDPE stretch-wrap film) being recyclable - provided it is properly collected - KNAPSACK prevents unnecessary contamination to produce significant savings on transportation and processing costs compared to mixed waste.
KNAPSACK is a strong perforated transparent bag, made of recycled LDPE, hung in a Knapholder; a sturdy tubular steel frame, which can be easily filled. The perforations allow the contents to be compressed and they are available in a range of sizes from 200 litres to 2500 litres. Knapholders are supplied in galvanised or painted options and wheeled versions enable easy transportation to central collection points.
Importantly, Knapsack plastic film does not wrap around forklift wheels or pump trucks, thus saving on costly repairs.
