AP Waste Handling has the exclusive UK rights to BioNova, which is an odourless aerobic composting treatment that meets all the requirements of the 2006 EU legislation regarding heat treatment of raw food.
An automatic microbiological process, BioNova reduces organic matter (typically food waste) into a nitrogen-rich powder, which depending upon the source material, may be used as a biofuel, pet food ingredient or soil treatment.
AP Waste Handling also offers traditional yet state-of-the-art recycling equipment, including static compactors, mobile compactors, traversing compactors, screw compactors, refurbished waste handling equipment, ejection containers and sludge containers.
Through its recent acquisition of Waste Recycling Solutions, AP Waste Handling also now offers a broad range of equipment, including compactors, balers, crushers and shredders. This extensive choice also includes horizontal and vertical balers, mill-size and multi-chamber balers, plus can and glass crushers. Waste collection equipment features Haga Sweepers and the Knapsack polythene collection system – as well as offering Alke and Kubota Utility vehicles.
